Kiki’s Taverna

Kiki's TavernaA small, delightful, unspoiled taverna (with no sign, telephone number, or electricity!) is open only until sundown.

Adjacent the secluded Ayios Sostis beach, which by the way is a must see and do too, they serve island food the way it should taste. The restaurant is located on the steep hill walking toward the beach . Look out for the entrance, if you blink you might miss it. It is obscured by the plants outside, as it has just a patio and no building to talk of. Meat and fish are grilled on a charcoal barbecue as you walk in and served in the restaurant's olive tree shaded courtyard. Be sure to try the tasty salad, too.

It is also small so you might have to wait a few minutes to get a table overlooking the turquoise Aegean. REMEMBER their hours are 11 am to 6 pm, 7 days a week.

One of the pure gems in Mykonos
